London? Pamphlet. This undated, unattributed booklet contains 315 tongue twisters. The cover illustration of a boy and girl wearing “H.M.S.” caps leads us to conclude that this is a British wartime publication intended for children. We surmise that this may be one of the many small format books produced to entertain and comfort children during the air raids of the Blitz. We find no copies in WorldCat or COPAC.
Condition of this wire stitched pamphlet measuring 5.5 x 3.75 inch (14 x 11 cm) is very good with clean textured paper covers and bright, clean contents free of spotting and markings. The lower corner is bumped, affecting the contents. We note that the top edge is cut at an angle which appears to be original to the publication. Item #004908
